It is less so now, but certainly other characteristics may make people treat others as partly human--such as, in these days, sexuality. I think whatever we use to marginalize people, we should remember the thought that Christ sees differently, and we should try to do the same.  - Rita</description>

			<description>I have a 17yr old daughter with autism.  The &quot;crazy man&quot; in this passage of Mark often reminds me of her when she is screaming or having a tantrum (especially in public).  Those who don't know her might think she's &quot;crazy&quot; or scary.  I take comfort in knowing that she was created by God for a special purpose.  Unlike our friend in Mark, my daughter does not have an unclean spirit.  When I look in her eyes, I see Christ. - Karen Cuffie</description>
