Forward Movement is an official, non-profit agency of the Episcopal Church whose mission is to create compelling content for Christian living. Since 1935 we have published the quarterly devotional Forward Day by Day, as well as pamphlets, booklets, and books that encourage and nourish people in their lives of prayer and faith.
2 Timothy 4:5-13. As for you, always be sober, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully. As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come...Do your best to come to me soon, for Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone...Only Luke is with me.

This is a good day for us to resolve to be ambassadors of the love and healing power of Christ. (1944)
