Values Statement on Artificial Intelligence
At Forward Movement, our mission is to inspire disciples and empower evangelists. We believe this mission is best served when our work reflects the voice, knowledge, expertise, and skill of human persons, created in the image of God and inspired by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that human creativity is a gift from God, and writers, artists, musicians, and craftspeople may be inspired by the Holy Spirit with imagination, skill, and originality. We also affirm that God created humanity for relationship, and it is through the connection and collaboration between human authors, artists, editors, translators, readers, and designers that we create our best work.
As such, Forward Movement does not use artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool to generate new content, in any context, even if a person later substantially edits or alters the content after generation. We allow the minimal, responsible use of AI as an assistive tool for tasks such as grammar checking or initial translation from one language to another, but only in concert with human authorship, editorial oversight, design, and development.
When you access a work from Forward Movement, you can have full confidence that work was created, designed, and edited by humans using their God-given creativity.

La Inteligencia Artificial y Forward Movement: Una declaración
En Forward Movement, nuestra misión es inspirar discípulos y empoderar evangelistas. Creemos que esta misión se cumple mejor cuando nuestro trabajo manifiesta la voz, el conocimiento, la experiencia y la habilidad de personas creadas a imagen de Dios e inspiradas por el Espíritu Santo.
Creemos que la creatividad humana es un don de Dios. Quienes se dedican a la escritura, el arte, la música y las artesanías pueden ser inspirados por el Espíritu Santo con imaginación, habilidad y originalidad. También afirmamos que Dios creó a la humanidad para vivir en vínculos; es a través de la conexión y colaboración entre autores, artistas, editores, traductores, lectores y diseñadores humanos que creamos nuestro mejor trabajo.
Por ello, Forward Movement no utiliza la inteligencia artificial (IA) como herramienta para generar nuevo contenido en ningún contexto, incluso si una persona edita o altera sustancialmente ese contenido. Permitimos el uso mínimo y responsable de la IA como herramienta auxiliar para tareas como la revisión gramatical o la traducción inicial de un idioma a otro, pero solo cuando son seres humanos quienes crean, supervisan, diseñan y desarrollan un producto.
Cuando accedes a una obra de Forward Movement, puedes tener plena confianza en que la obra fue creada, diseñada y editada por humanos usando la creatividad que Dios nos da.
