Dear friends in Christ,
This week, I’m delighted to share news of a new (and free!) course from Forward Movement and the Episcopal Church.
A few months ago, Forward Movement launched a new partnership with the Episcopal Church in which we’d worth with the Presiding Bishop’s staff to create new formation and evangelism resources for the church. Back in Advent, we began managing Sermons That Work and accompanying Bible studies.
Today we are announcing availability of a new, free course on the sacraments. This three-session video-based course is offered in English and Spanish. Complete with participant and leader guides, the course helps local congregations host conversations based on videos taught by the Rev. Melody Shobe and me.
In three sessions, we explore the nature and meaning of sacraments, and we focus especially on the two great sacraments: Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist. These brief courses might help a new Christian, someone who has become an Episcopalian after worshiping elsewhere, or long-time members who simply want a refresher.
You can download the course materials now.
I hope these materials will be a useful gift to the church.
Yours faithfully,

Scott Gunn
Executive Director
